The faculty and facilities are sufficiently well-equipped, though not comparable to IITs.

Placement is around 85 percent of class strength which has increased from mere 40 to 120 next year(present 2015 batch).
For 2012-16 batch :
highest - 9.5 lpa
average - 4 lpa
Some notable companies are Technip, Reliance,

Last year till 50 waitlist got cleared through upseat. So you have a chance. Hope for the best !

people usually consider upes Dehradun as the best last option . but I have heard its the best universityoffering petroleum engineering .
