hi Im peehu agrawal and Im in Xth class i want to do acting classes from 11th class and Im from cbse board can u please tell me some schools where i can take admission for acting before 12th and sidly i can do my 11th and 12th

Saunkita Mallick 31st Aug, 2020

Hey, hope you are doing well!

Firstly, please complete your schooling first. Because acting schools give intensive training and for pretty long hours. It becomes very difficult to cope up with both the things at the same time.

Secondly, some colleges even have post graduate courses only like FTII. In these days the basic qualification for any course is your 10+2.

So, please complete your schooling first.

Till then you can join your school dramatics club, learn online and prepare for various roles, work on dancing and fitness, make videos on your acting skills and post them on your social media accounts. You will gain confidence through that.

You can join theatre groups, acting workshops, etc.

Still as you asked for, these are some top acting schools in India-

  • Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune
  • Barry John Acting Studio, Mumbai
  • National School of Drama, New Delhi
  • Institute of Creative Excellence, Mumbai
  • Anupam Kher's Actor Prepares, Mumbai
  • Asian Academy of Film and Career (Noida, Mumbai, Kolkata and New Delhi)
  • Whistling Woods International, Mumbai
  • Zee Institute of Media Arts, Mumbai
  • Delhi Film Institute, Mumbai
  • Ramesh Sippy Academy of Cinema and Entertainment

All the best!

coaching centres will also reopen on sep 1 or only schools will reopen

ojaswiyolo Student Expert 10th Aug, 2020

Hey Mohan

As far as reopening is concerned it is not yet fully sure that schools will positively be reopening from 1st September (as only Assam has said that yet). The government is just planning to reopen the schools between 1st september and 14th November. Coming back to coaching centres, there is very very less probability of government allowing the reopening of coaching institutes as most students are currently not near their coaching centres (specially the ones in Kota or New Delhi) hence the probability of them opening anytime soon is negligible. There has been nothing from the Government's side regarding re opening of coaching centres yet.

will hostels will also reopen in India with schools

Tapas Kumar Singh 13th Sep, 2020

Hello mohan

According to The Union human resource development (HRD) ministry is readying elaborate guidelines to be followed when schools and universities reopen and are likely to include tie-ups with health facilities, screening mechanisms and protocols in case a student reports even a mild symptom, officials aware of the matter said. The guidelines are also likely to seek blended learning with some students attending classes from home and will also relate to issues like hygiene in hostels, kitchens, and common areas.

After release of guidelines of HRD ministry may be hostels reopen but till now not any notification regarding this.

hope that's helpful

best of luck

list of states in which schools reopen

Ayush 13th Sep, 2020
Hello,

Hope you are doing well.

As per your question, as all the schools and colleges are closed due to this pandemic so that community spread should not take place in any of the state. As if that happened then India would not be to control this pandemic so this was the main reason to close the school and colleges. But as of now we are well prepared to face this type of situation so some states have decided to reopen their schools.According to MHRD class 9 to class 12 can go to schools after reopening of schools. The states which are going to reopen their respective schools on 21st of september are:-

1) New Delhi
2)uttar pradesh
3) Haryana
4)Jharkand
5) andhra pradesh
6) uttarakhand

These are the states, which are going to reopen their respective schools keeping in minds the safety and precaution which should be taken.
Hope this information helps you. Thank you.

is it real that all educational institutions will not open this year or the schools and colleges will open in September

kaneez fathima 31st Jul, 2020

Hello,

Hope you are doing well.

As we all know that the prevailing pandemic has caused shutting down of schools and colleges since March, and as the pandemic curve is steepening further it is not feasible to open schools and colleges for students.

If the situation improves there are chances that the schools and colleges might open.Until then the schools and colleges will continue their day to day activities through online mode.

Stay safe!
