scientist
Hi,
For going in any research field you have to complete the masters degree first then you can go into that field. So, if you want to become doctor first then you must do your MBBS. Otherwise if you are not having that aim then you can do B.Sc. If you do B.Sc then you will have one year less than MBBS and getting chance for M.Sc is easier than M.D. After MBBS, Various institutes that offer research opportunities are ICMR(Indian Council for Medical Research), CIMAP, CCMB(Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology), St. John's Research institute. One can also join WHO. Many institutes like AIIMS, PGI, NIMHANS, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai (TIFR) offer a Ph.D. degree. There are two ways to switch over to research leading to Ph.D. for meritorious MBBS graduates. The main option is to get admission to a three-year medical postgraduate programme (MD or MS). Thereafter one can go for medical research leading to Ph.D. Besides this, a few research institutions admit meritorious medical graduates directly for research programmes. For example, Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology under the Government of India functioning at Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram, offers major research programme in disease biology and molecular medicine as well as plant biotechnology and discovery. First class (with 60 per cent marks) MBBS degree holders are also eligible for admission. This Ph.D. programme is affiliated to the University of Kerala. Those having a valid research fellowship from UGC- CSIR or ICMR, category A of Department of Biotechnology are eligible to receive fellowships. Medical Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, Jawaharlal Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh and Christian Medical College, Vellore provide research facilities leading to Ph.D. I hope this helps you.
All the Best.
hello aspirant,
See, To become a space scientist, one should possess relevant education in pure science or engineering disciplines. ISRO recruit candidates with PhD in Astronomy, Physics and Mathematics along with engineers in disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, electronics and computer science. So, if you have a PHD degree in the required field then it will really help you in becoming a Sapce scientist.
Most astronauts have a master's degree, and a PhD will significantly improve your chances of reaching the stars . A degree in astrophysics is an ideal starting point for would-be astronauts. Astrophysics is a broad subject that combines physics, chemistry, math, and cosmology.

Hello aspirant,
Although there are various career aspects through which you can become a n agriculture Scientist in India, but here are some 3 main ways through which you can become agriculture Scientist after pursuing class 12th :
Further, To become an agricultural scientist, an aspirant must have scored at least 50% and 40% for SC/ST in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Class XII . Also, when it comes to engineering like agricultural engineering, an aspirant should have studied Maths in Class XII.
Further the average salary of an agriculture Scientist in India can earn anywhere between 6 lakhs per annum to 8 lakhs per annu.. They get more than Rs. four lakhs a year at the early stage but finally get more than Rs. ten lakhs at the senior level.

If you directly join India's prominent Institute like BARC, IGCAR for nuclear engineering, you either must have good gate score or you have above 99 percentile in BARC OCES examination.
If you want to pursue in UGC certified colleges these are some colleges which provides Nuclear engineering program: IIT, kanpur, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar, Jadavpur University, Delhi Technical University, Amity University ,Delhi.
Please note that career in nuclear science may mean Nuclear physics or Nuclear Medicine. you may already be aware of this but you may note as below about nuclear physics and Nuclear medicine:
Nuclear Physics deals with study of the structure of matter at the atomic level. It also deals with the study of interactions of the atom molecules and the building blocks. The subject is mainly applied in nuclear power generation and nuclear weapons technology. Some of the known courses are Doctoral degree in Nuclear Engineering and Technology, Research programs in particle collision and high energy collisions, Master of Science in Nuclear Physics, etc.
Eligibility Criteria :-
For pursing a bachelor degree in nuclear physics, the candidates have to complete their 12th (Science) from a recognised institution. The qualification criteria for doing masters degree in the nuclear physics is a pass in graduation from a recognised university. The aspirants must have done their bachelors degree in any of the science subjects. To pursue any doctoral program, the candidates have to complete their master’s degree in nuclear physics from any recognised university. Some colleges may conduct entrance exams for Ph.D admission. So, the aspirants should score very well in their post graduation.
There are a good number of leading institutes in India offering a course in Nuclear Physics. Some of them are listed below :-
Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR)
Berhampur University
Karnataka University
Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics
Institute of Physics (IOP)
Government of India’s National Centre for Nuclear Science and Mathematics
IIT Kanpur
Manonmaniam Sundaranar University
Andhra University
Career Opportunities :-
The candidates can search for job in a nuclear power plant after completing the nuclear physics courses. They can also join as a scientist in any recognized institute. Those who want to go for higher studies can opt for research works. Some of the organizations that offer nuclear physicists are mentioned below :-
Material engineering firms
Power generation
Archaeology bodies
Medicine manufacturing companies
MRI machinery manufacturers
Research institutes
Defense research organizations
There are many Indian and foreign organizations that offer good jobs for the nuclear physics scholars, for example: Space and Astronomy Research Lab.
Hope this helps.
All the best.

Hello Aspirant!!!
It's great that you have applied and presently pursuing M.Tech Degree from IIST. Next comes the eligibility of the scientist category, you need to successfully accomplish either PhD or M.Tech degree from a recognised institution and you can join in the scientist category. If you still want more details, you are instructed to go through the updated information brochure available at the official website of ISRO.
Hope it helps!!!
Warm greetings for having different career thoughts!!! But honestly speaking the best way to achieve your degree as a space scientist is oriented with B.Tech course in either Aerospace Engineering or Avionics Engineering followed by M.Tech and then higher PhD studies.
If you can use up your innovative thought capabilities then there are several job profiles like
Astronauts
Space Scientist
Space Tourism
Space Research/ Academics
Space Psychology
Aerospace Engineers
Computer Engineers
Materials Engineers
Mechanical Engineers
Robotics Engineers
Hope it helps,
Good luck!!!
I hope that you are doing absolutely great.
