I am doing my last year of Bsc in life science. Can I apply for MSc Food service management at IGNOU without completing Bsc and complete it later on?

The official eligibility criteria for IGNOU Master of Science in Dietetics and Food Service Management [M.Sc. (DFSM)]  is stated below:

B.Sc Home Science with specialization in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition
Or
PG Diploma in Dietetics and Public Health Nutrition or its equivalent
Or
Graduate (B.Sc. Hons.) or equivalent (MBBS, BHS etc.) from any of the following backgrounds: Home Science/ Food Science and Technology, Zoology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical along with the DNHE or CNCC or CFN offered by IGNOU. (Simultaneous admission for CFN/CNCC also permitted)

As you can see there are no mentions of Life sciences you aren't eligible for the course.

Is there any minimum mark that I should have acquired in Bsc to apply for MSc Food service management at IGNOU?

see none of the career program is bad as long as you have interest for it. now while taking admission in any of the educational course students must select the institute or course based on the following factors:

college infrastructure

placement

career prospect of the course

further study option

duration

diploma in hospitality service management degree holders may work for travel and tourism management, hotel management, office executive profile. however at the time of final year of the course try to secure internship in relevant companies , make profile in naukri, times job, linkedin to get job alerts.

YES, you are eligible for M Sc in Dietetics and Food Service Management. M.Sc. in Nutrition and Dietetics is a 2-year full-time post graduate divided across 4 semesters. It has been designed to impart to eligible candidates requisite skills in:

·         Critical evaluation through integration of nutrition, dietetics, and research.

·         Interaction with patients and students.

·         Hands-on training in hospitals, in association with dieticians and clinicians.

·         Advanced diet therapy.

·         Participating in symposiums, research projects, and conferences in Nutrition & Dietetics.

·         Forging a connection between medicine, chemistry, and food, focusing on the good and bad effects of alimentation on the human body.

M.Sc. in Nutrition and Dietetics: Admission Process

·         Some colleges also offer admission on the basis of obtained merit at the level of graduation. However, generally, in most of the colleges and institutes offering the course, admission is provided based on the candidate’s performance in a relevant entrance test, conducted at any of State and national levels, followed by a subsequent round of counselling.

·         The round of counselling involves two additional rounds of Group Discussion and Personal Interview, wherein candidate’s general aptitude for the course is examined. A merit list is subsequently released issued by the institute allocating available seats to the qualifying candidates.

If you are lookung for MBA in service management yhen we recommend FMs Delhi is best becaus eof its high ROI, Low cost of education and great brand nad exceptional placements. 

Other top universities include JBims, IIT Madras, Welingkars Mumbai, GIM Gia.

For abroad we recommend Brunel University of London .
