The eligibility criteria for SET BBA 2018 are listed provided herewith:

• The candidate should have passed XII (10+2) examination from any recognised board, university or council with a minimum of 50% marks or 45% marks respectively depending on the programme/institute they are aspiring to take admissions
• Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final exams and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply for  SET BBA 2018 exams
• General category candidates should obtain minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate. For reserved category candidates like SC and ST, the minimum percentage should be 45
• Eligibility of NRI aspirants: A Non-Resident Indian(NRI) student is eligible to apply for SET BBA if he/she has appeared for either 10th or 10+2 (equivalent to the Indian 10th or 12th) examination outside India
• There is also an age limit a candidate should be less than 20 years of age as on May 5, 2018. There is a relaxation of two years for the reserved category candidates. However, they should not be more than 22 years of age as on the said date

So, Muthumari you cannot apply for SET BBA after the 10th class exam, complete your schooling and then after 12th class, you can go for it.

The cutoff for Symbiosis SET BBA 2018 test will be declared tentatively in the last week of May by all the institutes affiliated to Symbiosis University. The result was declared on May 14. SCMS Pune never releases a official cut-off.

Until last year, Cut-off for general category was somewhere around 105.

The trend might continue but the cut-off majorly depends upon the difficulty of the SET. With a score of 89, you might not be eligible for further rounds of WAT and PI.

For General category, the cutoff usually goes up to 91 or 91 marks out of a total 150. In this case, with a score of 98, you have a chance for further selection rounds of WAT and PI. However it also depends on the number of test-takers and a lot of other factors. I advise you to read this article where you will find all your answers

Can you please mention your category beacuse the cutoffs are different for every category. If you are from general category then with that score it seems impossible for you to get an admission based on previous year cutoffs but if you are from reserved category you will get an admission for sure based on previous years trends.

Both B.Com and BBA allows individual to pursue MBA in future. Bachelors in Commerce is more theoretical in nature, and the curriculum focuses on subjects related Accounts, Administration, Finance, Economics, etc.

However, if you intend to do MBA, then Bachelors in Business administration (BBA) is an ideal option as is lays foundation for further studies in MBA by helping an individual gain knowledge about subjects and provide in depth knowledge of the functional aspects of a company and skills in the area related to business management, thus helping in better understanding of concepts of MBA in future.
