Shanmugha Arts Science Technology Research and Academy, Thanjavur
There is no specific cut off to get a seat in SASTRA University. It depends on the student who scores the highest marks. If you have appeared for JEE Mains then apply under stream 1. If your board exam marks is 88-93% and JEE main marks is between 50-120 then you can get admission under stream.
There is no cut off or no minimum percent I required for admission in Shastra University. Admissions are based on the rank list prepared by the Shastra University and it will be different every year based on various factors.
It is based on 12th percentage and jee main mark(sastra will calculate like this 12th percentage * 0.75+jee main mark * 0.25) but you have to score good in JEE mains and your 12th.
Applicants are advised to submit the JEE scores in the application form even if they are not qualified for the Advanced. For getting CSE at SASTRA one have to score above 95% in 12th and above 93 percentile in JEE Main .

Hello! There is no particular end in IPE imprints to get into sastra. As of 2021 if you have any desire to get a seat in CSE you should be your state clincher. You get ECE or EEE on the off chance that your imprints are 986+. This is for other state understudies IPE percent ought to be at least 97-98% and Shastra is a college that considers JEE MAIN imprints, being an external state competitor it is vital to score 97-98% alongside a JEE score of 110-130 to get a seat in Shastra.
Hello,
Sastra University takes admission on the basis of 12th scores and jee mains scores out of which 30% weightage is given to the 12th marks and 70% weightage is given to jee mains scores so let me tell you that your jee mains scores is very less so i would suggest to keep other private colleges as a backup to be on a safer side.
You can get lower branches here but that too depends on certain conditions like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
Sastra University takes admission on the basis of 12th and jee mains scores in which 30% weightage is given to the 12th scores and 70% weightage is given to the jee mains scores.
Let me tell you on the basis of these scores state ranking will be published and accordingly you will be admitted. However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, choices filled by the candidate, toughness level of the paper.
As per my view you would be able to get core branches but you never if the dynamics changes you also can get ECE branch.
Hello there!
SASTRA has not mentioned any cutoff criteria for JEE MAINS score as they have their own merit list for allotting seats for admission in this university. If you want to pursue your B.Tech in SASTRA with CSE branch, you need a score of 95% and above in your 12th examination from a recognized board.
Admissions are done on the basis of following two criteria for SASTRA.
And since your score in boards is 97.6% you have high chances to get CSE in SASTRA university.
Hope this helps!
hello aspirant,
Yes, you may get admission in Sastra university for the above mentioned engineering branches in the above mentioned percentile in JEE mains. This is because there is no percentile and the minimum marks required for the admission in Sastra University. SASTRA does not use the CBSE cut-off for its admission but its own ranks calculated based on +2 marks and JEE (Main) scores. So, you can get admission in this college.
They prepare their own meritlist on the basis of 2 criterias:

Dear aspirant,
Personally I think Amrita Coimbatore is better but SASTRA is better than any other branches of Amrita other than Coimbatore.
1. The course structure and curriculum is at par with IITs.
2. Amrit has a relative grading system and thus your grades don't matter in an absolute sense.
3. The amenities of Coimbatore campus is way better than that of SASTRA.
4. Amrita has a better brand value. Even though, both colleges have similar placement records, Amrita offers more options than SASTRA.
Hope this helps.
Looking at the previous year trends we can say that you really have a good board mark and JEE percentile. With this, we can say that you have a really good chance of getting CSE if you have TN / Thanjavur quota. If not, it might be slightly difficult, but looking at the previous year trends we can say that you stand a fair chance for getting into the courses you have mentioned but also please keep your other options open.
