There are majorly two modes of admission in BTech program at Sastra University which includes either based upon jee main+ 12th boards score or entirely on board's score. Basically there are two modes to get admission in Sastra University that is through intermediate percentage or through combined score of JEE main and JEE main examination calculated by a specific formula. In both cases your English score will be taken into consideration while calculating so the English marks definitely affects your admission chances. As the competition is tough and number of applicants are very high so try having atleast a descent score in English so that it won't affects your chances by much.
Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology & Research Academy(SASTRA), Thanjavur has a total fees of around 81000 per annum rupees including sports fee ,one time fees and extra fees. The hostel fees varies according to complex and room sharing for example 5 in 1 room costs around 10000 in vashista where as single student room in kaamdhenu costs 24000 rupees per annum .
Tuition fees increases by 5-10% almost every year, so your total fees will be around 1 lakh rupees per year which will increase year by year.

Dear Aspirant, you should score good marks in English but in order to get admission in B Tech CSE in Sastra University or any other Engineering colleges or universities English marks is no that much required, They mainly focus on PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) marks. Dear applicant after completion of your B.Tech degree specially from Sastra University you can expect starting Package of 6-8 LPA. But yes few companies like Amazon, TCS, Cognizant, Wipro they can offer 9-10 LPA package if you are competent enough.
