Hi Rahul!This is Neeraj Atluri.Congrats for scoring a good score in IPE.Sastra is one of the best university in Tamil Nadu.So large number of students apply for it, but as you scored a good score in IPE you will definitely get a seat in SASTRA in your preffered branch.
i think you have to write seperate entrance to enter in to sastra college
sastra doesnt care about jee mains rank , if you want seat in sastra you have to write entrance , if u want placement as faculty in sastra you have to attend general process of hiring
60% of your board marks are considered for admission. jee mains takes up only 40% of the overall assessment... so there is a possibility..but u may not get the the major courses like cse ,ece..

definately you will get sastra as you have pretty managble marks in IPE as well as in jee but you might need to adjust with branches

yeah you have pretty high chances in the SASTRA while i would like to say you should adjust with branches youget in SASTRA as there is huge competation to that college

With 84 marks in JEE mains, you won't get any good college. But, with 95.3% in 12th you can get direct admission in Sastra University. Contact administration dept of university.
