Sastra University provides admission in two ways
1) Stream 1- (Based on JEE Main and +2 marks) for 70% seats.
2) Stream 2- (Based on +2 marks) for 30% seats.
In stream 1 the weightage for JEE main score and for +2 marks will be 25% &75% respectively.

There are two types of scholarship provided by the university
1- Dean's and Merit scholarship list- This scholarship is provided to top Scorers in University Examinations.2- Hostel Scholarship- This Scholarship is provided to Hostelers with a good CGPA and high attendance.

In Sastra university, 70% seats will be filled based on JEE Main 2018 scores of the candidates along with 10+2 or any equivalent examination normalized scores and remaining 30% seats will be filled based on candidates' 10+2 or any equivalent examination
