I hope this would help you out with the details and information you need.
All the best.
Dear Aspirant,
For the admission in Sastra they do consider the normalized result of both +1 and +2 but you have just mentioned only the 1st year result .So, I am considering you as an 1st year student only .Make sure you get your 2nd year result much better than 1st years and in the next attempt of yours in JEE try to score more than 90% if you are an OC category student .In sastra they consider both JEE and inter board marks so make sure you get good percentile in JEE beacuse 70% of the consideration for your seat is in JEE score.

GOOD LUCK.
Hello,
As getting admissions in any colleges depends upon various factors through which this whole process take place and Sastra university is considered as a good university for the future studies because it provides a good academic and also seeing at your JEE results you have got a decent score and you can definitely make a try for your admissions in this particular college. So talking about CSE branch it is very popular branch and a lots of students try to get in this particular field due to its higher future scope, so it may find you little difficult to get you in CSE branch in this score but trying is must if not this than there are even many more options which also have same level of demand and scope.
Thank you..
I am sorry to say this but you won't be able to get CSE branch in thanjavore campus since your JEE percentile is low. You may have a chance of getting seat but that maybe in 2nd or 3rd counselling and you may get non IT groups .You may get the seat by considering inter marks also .
good luck
The cutoff for Sastra is unpredictable but 30% of seat allotment would be based on +2 percentage and rest of the 70% would be based on JEE percentile since you have good percentage in +2 you may have a chance of getting seat through +2 percentage but the probability is less. Don't loose hope try for the next following counselling also.
ALL THE BEST

Here you will able to find complete details about this particular college so please take a look.
Dear aspirant, for sastra there is no cutoff and no minimum percentile required. It is based on 12th percentage and jee main marks(sastra will calculate like this 12th percentage * 0.75+jee main mark * 0.25)
Total is of165 marks. Out of 165 marks what are your marks based on that they will give the seat. Therefore there is no minimum percentile you need. However, you need to score good marks in both (12th AND JEE MAINS). There are 351 CSE seats so you need to get rank under 351 when marks are calculated out of 165. There is no reservation on the basis of caste at SASTRA University. The only reservation you can get is through the local category. However, there is a 'Trichy quota ', a 'Thanjavur quota ', and a 'Tamil Nadu quota'.
Hi Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you, yes you can certainly get sastra because you have got 93% in class 12th and more weightage is given to 12th marks as 75% weightage and 25% weightage is given to J.E.E mains. You may fill the form and can expect a seat with the help of your boards marks.

Btech CSE for Sastra University
Total seats- 300
Total fees- 6.20 lakh
Hostel fee- 12000 yearly
5 % annual increase in tuition fee from II year.
There is no donation procedure as per my research in Sastra University as counselling procedure is done purely based on merit. Also due to the heavy competition, there is no way to get a seat like that.
