You have very less scope of getting ECE with an AIR rank of 1000+ in SASTRA. Every year the trend changes and the cut-offs of CSE and ECE will be varying. But mostly the cut-off rank for ECE will fall in the range of 400-500%. The combined score of all students will be used to determine the SASTRA Rank (Stream 1) and admission will be based on the SASTRA Rank secured. Stream 2 Admission: Applicants under Stream 2 will be admitted based on their normalized aggregate +2 or its equivalent marks. This is for 30% of the total seats. Electronics and Communications Engineering is one of the most popular branches of engineering which involves researching, designing, developing, testing and maintaining of electronic equipment.
Hii There,
You can be assigned to an information technology (IT) or information and communication technology (ICT) branch at SASTRA University if your rank is 3,499 or above. Because cutoffs were lower in prior years, CSE is unlikely. For the most up-to-date and accurate information, always contact the admissions office or reach out to us.
