How is Shiv Nadar University in terms of placements, education quality, residential life. I have been shortlisted for CSE at Shiv Nadar University.

Shivang Dubey 2nd Jul, 2020

Hey Vidushi

Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida being a private university provides good facilities around the campus. It has a huge 286 acre campus size and ranked 56th by NIRF in 2020. The university also provides study friendly environment and overall it has good faculty for a decent curriculum.

The placements for Shiv Nadar University previous year was:

  • Highest Package: 31 lacs per annum
  • Average package: 7-8 lacs per annum

Placements are good in the university especially in CSE branch. But if you have better choices like any Government college/university then you must opt for that.

How is Shiv Nadar university,Greater Noida?

Sk Student Expert 1st Jul, 2020

Hi

According to the question you have posted Shiv Nadar University (SNU) is that the youngest institution

ranking among the highest 100 overall list in NIRF Rankings consecutively for 3 years.

In NIRF 2019 Ranking,it is ranked 52 within the University category. The university offers a good range of

programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. level. It offers high-quality education degree,

diploma and certification programs in humanities, management, science, research, and education.

Surely it's a worth for money university as compared to other private universities within the same field.

The fees is worth as per the infrastructure provided. If you get a scholarship (based on the 12th board

marks) it gets more cheaper.

The campus life is basically good at SNU, the gang of scholars is good . Students are very social and

interactive. you're allowed to pursue any of your hobbies freely with none boundation, Also there are

almost 50 societies and clubs which perform events on day to day .

Since its a replacement university, placements weren't that good within the initial 3-4 years (till 2015 i

might say). But now because the university is gaining more and more reputation, also as "The institute

of eminence" award recently. The placements are becoming better and better.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR APT IF APPEARING KN SNU-SAT EXAMINATION THIS YEAR.? IS IT TOUGH TO GET CSE IN SNU,NOIDA?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 11th Jun, 2020

APT Test varies for the subjects that you want to study B.Tech in. If you want to take up B.Tech in CSE, your subjects will be Physics and Mathematics for 30 minutes each. The Physics and Mathematics will be at 12th level. The questions will be of MCQ type. There is no negative marking either. So what you answer is what you score. Now stick to NCERT books and get all the formulae and basics correct. That way you can score good easily.
