Hello Jalagam,
Sorry to say, but if the entrance exam was average and your board percentage is 90, then getting CSE or ECE at Shiv Nadar will be very difficult as they are the most preferred branches at Shiv Nadar University. But, you might be able to get one of the less preferred branches.

Hello Ritik, Shiv Nadar University is a very new institute and is deemed to be university. However, with a certain elevated fee, you get worldclass facilities and infrastructure, and may get opportunities for all round development. The SNU also claims to provide research based education parallel to IVY Leagues in USA, but being a very new institute the credibility of such claims cannot be confirmed at this point of time. Also placement and salary packages at SNU post graduation may not be at par with other old private colleges.
I would not suggest you against joining SNU since it might be brilliant for your career, but i would also like to suggest that you try for some other private colleges too like Manipal, VIT, SRM, KIIT etc

hello,
The faculty members present in college are top-notch and have accomplished a lot in their career. Many faculty here have something more than just an academic background. They have first hand experience of what the corporate world is and what it takes to survive in it.
The curriculum is very diverse, they provide options to pursue minor in any different field along with your major. The time table is set accordingly to help students to gain minor as well with their major. Here, everyone is provided with scholarships during admissions and to maintain it we have to get 6.5 CGPA every year. In departments other than engineering, the student to teacher ratio is 10:1, and on an average, it's around 50:1.
hope this helps
