should i join VIT or SNU for cse and also I am from north India.

lakshmi.punati3931 Student Expert 24th May, 2019
Hello aspirant,

Well, to be very honest, I got to know about the fabulous CSE placements of Shiv Nadar for the first batch recently. So,in my view, it is a rising college and has the potential to become one of the finest private colleges in Northern India. You are getting CS at Shiv Nadar so I think you should choose Shiv Nadar since batch strength would be less compared to VIT so you will have more chances of getting placed in a good company.
Moreover, the final outcome depends on the student

Hope you understand,
Thank you

I have aggregate 70.8 marks in class 12th so I take direct admission in shiv nadar University

yash 22nd May, 2019
The minimum requirement for admission in 2015 was 80% for CBSE board. It varied from board to board for example the minimum requirement for a student who had appeared for XIIth from Maharashtra State board had minimum of 75% to score just to be eligible for admission. Beyond the 80%, the more you score, the better scholarship you are likely to obtain for studies at SNU.
Sorry to say this but you should improve your marks to get admission in this college.
Hope you could improve it.
I am sad seeing your performance in board exams.
Hope you got the answer you are looking for thank-you.

Is shiv nadar University good for learning engineering How is its placement result What about faculty

Ankita 19th May, 2019
Hello Pinky
Shiv Nadar University is a top notch private university with really good faculties. It's English department is very well known and considered to be at par with some premier institutes.
As far as engineering is concerned, the moment you take b.Tech, you need to make sure that you need to utilise the facilities the best you can. And in this scenario, I will consider Shiv Nadar as a good university.
For placement, it is more or less same for every private University.
So if you have no problem with a Pvt university then you can surely join this one.
Good luck

Which is the best university to study Economics hons. In terms of placement. Other than Delhi University. How about Shiv Nadar University ?

Aryaman Tewari 18th May, 2019
See, in India, the education system is such that government colleges have always been much better than private colleges. If not in terms of infra, it is better in quality and level of teaching and the turn out.

This claim is easily justified by the alumni of various colleges, with most of the cream belonging to good government colleges.

However, this is not to discredit private universities.
Answering your question, Shiv Nadar is a very good University and has gained pace since the last few years. However, placement wise, it hasn't shown the best results. A few good companies come there, but the companies DU colleges attract is better than any.

Also, in DU, you are also taught how to become a researcher in your field.

So, yes, good luck. I would say opt for Eco Hons in DU if you are eligible, it's also much cheaper.
