Shiv Nadar University has set an eligibility criteria which requires a student to present his/her mark sheet with a specific subject requirement. For graduation in Economics the University requirement is a subject combination of all of the subjects in your class 12 marksheet with English and Mathematics as mandatory

No, JEE marks are just one of the two ways of getting in..you may use your board marks instead , if you wish.

The cutoff for CBSE is between 82 - 85% PCM for BTech.

If you talking about the nits, iiits,
You can not take admission other than getting good marks in jee mains. For IITS, you have to clear jee advance with desired rank.

For other colleges like vit or srm, do appear for respective entrance exams to take admission.
