harshitasharansrivastava Student Expert 11th Feb, 2021

Hello Dear,

As you have not mentioned your category for which you have applied in this examination. If we consider the previous year cutoff it was around 77 percentile for general so it is difficult for you to get in in general category. Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development, commonly called SDMIMD is in Mysore since 1993. It offers various courses under Management stream that features PGDM, PGCM, and PGPSM for those with Bachelor’s degrees.

in Christ university,Bangalore and sdmimd,Mysore which is best to study mba and good in curriculum and placement and ROI

hrithik jain 24th Jan, 2020

Hello,

Both the institutions come under the list of top most institutes. It is very difficult to directly decide which one is better. Both of them hold a great track record in terms of placement packages (average package for both the institutions is close enough as well), quality of the study is also similar in both the institutions. I would suggest you to review other factors like distance from your native place etc. Also, being in Bangalore can help you in getting further opportunities; think of these kinds of benefits you will get in the future before selecting any one of them. In terms of curriculum, placement and ROI, both of them are excellent and at the end it all depends on your interest and participation.

isbr,Bangalore vs sdmimd,Mysore..which is best to choose in both curriculam and placement and good in ROI?

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 23rd Jan, 2020
ISBR Bangalore has a fees of 9 lakhsbut the placements not up to the mark. Very few companies like Byjus, Jaro education visit the campus and not many students get placed. The average compensation package is nearly 5-6 lakhs.

SDMIMD would be a better option for you. It has a fees of approximately 11 lakhs with pretty good academics and placements. Almost 70 percent students get placed. Reputed companies like ICICI Bank, Deloitte, Ujjivan, TCS visit the campus offering an average compensation package of around 6-7 lakhs.

Sdmimd or Myra which B School is good for banking and finance

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 21st Jan, 2020
SDM Institute for Management Development would be a better option for you. The fees is nearly 11 lakhs for the PGDM program and the average compensation package offered is 6-7 lakhs. Reputed organizations like HDFC, Morgan Stanley, ICICI, Ujjivan and others visit the campus. SDMIMD has pretty decent placements when it comes to finance and marketing. Last year out of all the companies who visited the campus, 22% were micro finance companies and nearly 32% were BFSI. So you can have good scope for finance over there.

Myra School of Business also has a fees of nearly 10 lakhs and the average compensation package offered there is 5-6 lakhs but recruiters ususlly don't prefer to visit the campus for students of finance.

Good Luck
