Can I get into SRCC if I have 98 percent for my best four subject?

Deepshikha Student Expert 16th Feb, 2019
Hey,

Shri Ram College of Commerce,University of Delhi is the best college for students belonging to the commerce stream. It offers BA Honours for Economics and B.Com Honours. Admission is based on the cutoff released by SRCC which is based on the average of the highest marks obtained in any of the four subjects of class 12 board exams.

If we take into consideration the previous years cutoffs, you have fair chances to get admission in SRCC with 98%if not first cutoff then most probably second cuttoff.

Hope this helps.

Is there in requirement of maths with commerce for the admission for bcom in a good cpllege such as du or srcc.

Srishti Mehta 17th Jan, 2019

Hello Karan

Maths is compulsory for majority of the courses in many universities. So if you want to pursue b.com or any other good course then you must have studied maths in 11th and 12th standard only then you can apply for BCOM in DU.

Moreover maths helps in many other competitive exams as well. So I think it's better if you keep maths as one of your subjects

which book is good for srcc gbo 2019 entrance exam?

Sai 15th Dec, 2018

Hii Mohdgufran..

Before preparation you should know certain important things regarding the exam.

  1. The exam is of 640 marks i.e. 160 questions of 4 marks split into 4 sections of 40 questions each.
  2. There is no sectional cut-off for the exam. However the aggregate cut off is in the range of 240- 250 for general category as it has been rising due to increasing competition over the years.
  3. For preparation you do not require coaching as such.
    1. For quant you can refer book such as R.S. Aggarwal or Pearson or refer to studying material of any coaching centre.
    2. Verbal section is quite normal with slight high level of vocabulary based questions so you don't require much preparation for it. Just do the Reading comprehensions well.
    3. For Logical reasoning section also you can refer to coaching material of career launcher, bull's eye etc. The blocks are pretty easy.
  4. Hope this helps you. All the best.

I am currently a student of class 12th commerce without mathematics. Am I eligible for admission in b.com (honours) in SRCC?

Faizan Salim 4th Dec, 2018

Hiii

In Sri Ram College of Commerce(SRCC), DU, the eligibility to apply for B.Com (Hons) is that the candidate must have studied and qualified English or Hindi in class 12th and must have studied and qualified Mathematics or Business mathematics in qualifying exam(10+2).

So you are not eligible for B.Com(hons) at SRCC since you don't have maths

Thanks!!
