SIT is ranked 70th (national) and 5th (state) in the survey conducted by National institutioal ranking framework . Where as Dayanand sagar is not within 100 rankings.

Though there is less places available in tumkur in terms of chilling around with friends you may find Dayanand sagar a better institution.

But the placement for cse is good in SIT.

SIT Tumkur is an average college. Placement is not very good. If you will be top 5 in your college and you have good communication skill then you have high chances to get placed.

Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumkur is an autonomous college, also rating of college is very nice but fee str is higher than IMSEC.

Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology is 100th best college of India according to HRD ministry.NMIT has NBA accredition which helps a lot in terms of placement. But the placement and the package depends extremely on the branch which you choose. If you choose CSE or ISE you will most probably get a job and if you know a bit of coding you will get a package of >5 lack p.a. . If you are in EEE or ECE most probably you will get a decent package depending upon your study. But if you you choose Civil , Mechanical or Aeronautical . There is a very less chance of getting a good package. Only the mass recruiter will take you and that too for a package of 2–3.5 lack p.a.
