Sir, My son is Singapore citizen. I am Indian. My wife is Singaporean divorced 19 years back. My son is living with me here in India and studied at Chennai school since LKG. Can my son write neet exam and get Medical deat here in India?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 6th Dec, 2019

If your son has a Singapore citizenship, though he has been in India since LKG, he will be considered as a Foreign National. Civilians in India do not usually get dual citizenship and so he cannot be considered an Indian Citizen. Having said that, your son is eligible for NEET if he fulfils the eligibility critera which is mentioned here. And if your son gets a seat in MBBS, he can study in India.

NEET 2020 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • Indian Nationals, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, and Foreign Nationals
  • No upper age limit as of now. The Candidate should be at least 17 years by December 31st of 2020
  • You should have completed your 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as your Core Subjects.
  • 50% Aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST Candidates.
  • NIOS and Private Candidates are also eligible

Hello Anusha

Currently I feel NTU would be better because of its increasing status but again it is still debatable NSU or NTU.!The best courses for MS in Computer Science depends totally on your area of interest and the course which you want to specialize on.

According to the research and recent trend the course which is most popular and taken by most of the students is MS in Computer Science (General) which is a course which teaches you all the Important subjects like Computer Organisation & Architecture, Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Database Systems, Theory of Computation, Compiler Design etc.

MS in Data Science (most popular), MS in Artificial Intelligence, MS in Human Computer Interaction and so on and so forth.
