If you want to become a software developer then you need to do engineering i. e Btech computer science etc , so after 10th for your 10+2 you need to choose science stream- Maths group, you should have subjects including physics mathematics and Chemistry if you want to become a software engineer

to become a software developer as a professional it is recommended that you choose science field upon the completion of your 10th standard. Preferably choose a science stream, with Mathematics as a subject, as Mathematics is a crucial part of software development. You are willing to study BTech in software technology in Australia University. The student who have secured 65% marks in 12th standard examination will be eligible for appearing that admission test of that respective University. The IELTS international English language test system, TOEFL test of English as a foreign language, PTE Pearson test of English, should be taken before admission in Australian University.
If a student it does not secure or less than 65% marks in 12th standard they have to do a foundation course in Australia before admission.
If student can do job and continue to study then there is scope for student also.

Having B.E. / B.Tech. Degree is not enough these days! So if you want to make yourself more improved then go ahead with M.E. / M.Tech. Or if you give more importance to job, then try to get placed in your college placements. Some IT based companies are Infosys, CTS, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Walmart, Tech Mahindra, etc,. So, choose what you desire!
