were spjimr and spjcm affiliates till 2009

Suchana Datta 16th Dec, 2021

Hi,

Apart from having multiple sports grounds, gyms and gaming rooms are also present in SP Jain Global. SPJIMR has separate grounds for football, cricket, and courts for basketball, badminton, volleyball, etc.

SP Jain is better than NMIMS, and so it is the best choice among all these. ... NMIMS has a batch of about 500 students whereas SP Jain Mumbai has a batch strength of about 320 students. Being a high-profile-based institute, SP Jain accepts CAT and XAT scores.

They don't have any management quota. The assessment of an applicant is on the basis of his/her profile, meeting the qualifying scores in either GMAT or CAT and the interview process. SPJIMR communicates directly with all the shortlisted candidates.

what happens if one fail in exams in spjimr

Suchana Datta 16th Dec, 2021

Hi,

A failed exam can come as a shock but shouldn't define your entire semester. Avoid the temptation to quit a subject or ignore studying because of one bad grade. Use the experience of failing an exam as an opportunity to work on your weaknesses. Remember to stay calm and ask your professor for advice on how to improve.

all the students are expected to pass to move towards the next class. If a student has failed in one or two subjects, then he is given a chance to reappear for the same exam. It is called a compartment exam. A minimum of two months is present between the result declaration and the date of examination.

did you get a profile-based call from spjimr

Drishti Yadav 16th Dec, 2021

Dear student,

SPJIMR basically shortlist candidates on the following basis:

  • The very first step is they get shortlisted on basis of profile, which means profile based calls are given only if you meet the specified cut off.
  • The next step involves judging them on basis of percentile score and the profile keeping in mind the performance of group discussion and personal interview.

how to enter xat score in spjimr form

Drishti Yadav 16th Dec, 2021

Dear student,

This is to inform you that since this year 2022 , SPJIMR will not accept XAT exam score. They are trying to pay attention on providing admission not only through entrance exam score but also through other parameters like gd , pi, on the basis of profile. Also you may note that they do not need work experience. Also admission will be based only on CAT score and GMAT score.

what to put in area of interest in spjimr marketig

Yaseera Bhombal 16th Dec, 2021

Hi,

It is critical to have solid grounds for choosing a certain expertise. You can choose up to two specialization from Marketing, Operations & Supply Chain Management, Finance, and Information Management at SPJIMR.  So if your area of interest is marketing you can select marketing as your first preference.

The order of preference is important, and the first preference should ideally be connected with your profile, which means that you have a bachelor's degree in the subject, relevant work experience, or any specialised courses related to it. The second preference, if filled, should also reflect genuine interest with effective reasoning.

If you mention a Special Area Of Interest, you must include a 50-word explanation to it. Make a note in this box as follows:

  • Why you appreciate this specialisation
  • how your talents or attributes connect with it,
  • informal activities that reflect your specific interest in this field.

Hope that helps you

what to write under responsibility shouldered in spjimr

Yaseera Bhombal 16th Dec, 2021

Hello Shruti,

In the responsibility shouldered section, you can add about your previous experiences

The personal and professional sections are easily distinguished.

  • Include any activities where you took on or were given responsibility in the personal area. They can be ongoing or long-term tasks, or they can be one-time or short-term responsibilities.
  • Include any obligations you took on that were not part of your KRAs or job description in the professional section. They may be in charge of obligations above your classification due to a lack of staff, unique projects/initiatives you initiated or were assigned to you, or planning events at your business.

In all circumstances, use the description to put the scope/importance of duty, your role, and the quality of the output into context.

Hope that helps you

  • Written and aptitude tests:

Swift analytical aptitude is a standardised computer adaptive test that makes use of the greatest psychometric technology available. It assesses verbal, numerical, and diagrammatic thinking in a current working setting. It's a good choice for management programmes because it has a strong link to critical thinking.

Case study and written essay on a specified topic.

  • Interviews and group discussion
