The admission in to Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering is based on TNEA counselling. The eligibility criteria is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and as mandatory subjects and any vocational subjects from the following
Candidates belonging to General category must score minimum 50% marks for Backward Classes including Backward Class Muslim candidates it is minimum 45% marks, MBC/ DNC/SC/SCA/ST it is minimum 40% marks.
The admission is based on marks score in class 12th in Mathematics. Physics and Chemistry. It does not accept JEE Main score. If you wish to get admission in SSN you need to apply for TNEA admissions 2021.

The admission procedure for SSN college is by filling the online application form available at the official website of the institute. The application fee is INR 1250/- for all the programs.
Admission to both the programs are done on the basis of merit of the qualifying examination. The admission test scores decide whether the candidate receives the scholarship or not.
Higher priority would be given to topscorers in the entrance test and qualifying examination.
Candidates will have to participate through TNEA (https://collegedunia.com/exams/tnea) and TANCET counseling for B.Tech and M.Tech admission respectively. Once alloted through counseling, candidates need to move ahead to the institute for the final admission round.

The college is good in terms of placement and faculties.Almost 90 percent of student gets placed.There are lots of internships opportunities and placements are offered by renowned companies like HCL,TCS etc.The average salary package offered is about 4.5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 12 LPA.Other companies that comes are Goldman Sachs, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, etc.

The minimum marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry when taken together must be minimum 60% marks and 50% marks in English in class 10th or class 12th level.

You must produce a caste certificate as and when asked for it.
