which is better Warangal civil or Srinagar nit cse

Mohammed Faiz 10th Nov, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

Both the college's and the branches are great and have good score and the college's have good rating. But your comparison is between two different branches and colleges. So it's important for you to consider your field of interest first then consider a college to join, but if your confused between the two branches then let me tell you that both civil engineering and computer science engineering have great scope and lots of opportunities in future and present. But Computer Science and engineering is a field which requires lot of computer work and the number of professionals needed for this work is increasing every year as the world is getting modernised and getting dependant onto robot's and computers. So seeing to this as an opportunity you could get into the CSE field for a great scope in present and future. So my recommendation for you would be CSE into NIT Srinagar.

Hope this helps

Good Luck

sir I got seat in Srinagar nit in jossa round ,and If I paid partial admission fee.then I want to go for special round is there any admission process after paying 40k in jossa

ARYAN SAGAR 9th Nov, 2020
Dear student,

As you have got nit srinagar, and if you want to retain your seat, then you have to pay a partial admission fees.
Now if you have paid the partial admission fees and now if you want to take part in csab special rounds, then yes, definitely you can.

And as you have paid the seat acceptance fees as well as partial admission fees then you just only have to give rupees 2000 as participation fees for csab special round counselling 2020 ( as your rest of the partial admission fees will be adjusted in the registration fees of csab special round counseling ).
And this rupees 2000 is non-refundable processing charges.

And if you got alloted any seat, in csab special round, then you can accept it and upload the documents for verification. ( your josaa seat will be automatically cancelled ). After successful verification and confirmation of seat you are required to report at the allotted Institute for admission during 25th to 30th november 2020 as per the instructions available on the Allotted Institute website, and, complete all the
admission modalities and pay the Institute Fee (as applicable). If you don't, then your allotment may be cancelled and no refund will be admissible.

sir the 6 round cut off for ECE in ap nit is 31k.I got 24k but i got Srinagar CSE for my mistake.is there any chances to get ap nit in special round

ARYAN SAGAR 8th Nov, 2020
Dear student,

First of all, I can assume that this 24000 is your general CRL rank, as you haven't mentioned your category.
Now, it's unfortunate that you didn't got nit andhra pradesh, but in the other hand congratulations that you got cse in nit Srinagar.

Now, as your preferred college is nit andhra pradesh, then yes, got can get nit andhra pradesh, as per seeing last year cutoff closing ranks for csab special round counselling.

As per the last year cutoff closing ranks for general students in CSAB special round, here are the branches that you can get in nit andhra pradesh :-

  • Bio Technology ( in csab round 1 )
  • Chemical engineering ( in csab round 1 )
  • Civil engineering ( in csab round 1 )
  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering ( in csab round 1 )
  • Mechanical Engineering ( in csab round 1 )
  • Metallurgical and Materials Engineering ( in csab round 1 )

So, you have very good chances of getting nit andhra pradesg, from other state quota, in csab Special round counseling, AS PER THE LAST YEAR CUTOFF CLOSING RANKS.

And also check out the following link to know more about csab special round counselling and the previous year cutoff Trends ( note that all the mentioned ranks are CRL rank not category wise ranks ) :-

sir I got Srinagar nit in first round of jossa. I go through float option ,but even I couldnt get any other nit. if I want to go for special round ,then what about my seat accept fee in jossa,if my seat cancelled

ayanmukherjee045 5th Nov, 2020

Dear aspirant,

According to your question and taking into consideration that you have got nit srinagar in first round of josaa.

As per my knowledge, you have to pay 40k as partial admission fee after round 6. By paying this amount your seat will be secured and you can also take part in csab.

I am from Jammu and Kashmir and my neet score is 401 and my category is STO ...will I get GMC Srinagar?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 21st Oct, 2020

In 2019, under State Quota, 315 marks secured a seat in GMC Srinagar under ST Category. That was the cut off. With a score of 401, you do have border line chances. Borderline chances because compared to 2019, the NEET 2020 cut offs have changed considerably higher than expected. With the top score being 720 which is 19 marks greater than 2019's top score, making the cut offs increase way higher. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. sir in first of jossa ,I got ECE Srinagar .for further I choose float option.sir please tell me which NIT may I get in other rounds

ARYAN SAGAR 19th Oct, 2020
Dear student,

As you haven't mentioned your jee mains rank, then prediction of nit colleges be little difficult. Also you must mention your category, and as you have not mentioned it so, I'm assuming you from general category.
Now as you have got ece in nit Srinagar in josaa first round, then your general rank must be around 30000 (if you are belong from other state).

Now I have assumed your category as general and your rank around 30000, then you can get other good nits. Now as you have selected float option then you want a higher preference branch or seat in higher preference institute. So, is your belong from other state, then as per your rank you can get other good nits in futhur rounds like :-

Mnit jaipur
Mnnit allahabad
Nit andhra pradesh
Nit durgapur

Also you can get other nits too on basis of your rank, in further rounds ( till round 5 this year as the cutoffs are increased for 1st round in comparison to previous year).

what should i choice nit agartala production engineering or nir srinagar maturlurgy and material engineering.?

aswathypadinjakkara 21st Nov, 2020

Hello student

I would suggest you nit agartala over nit srinagar because of the good student reviews. As you have mentioned that you are opting for production engineering the college has good placement records with an average package of 5.5lakhs.The college has got well organised placement cell which conducts training programs for students. The department of production engineering was formed on 2005.The department of metallurgy and materials engineering was formed on 1963.You can have a overlook on both campuses from the following links

handukanika 16th Oct, 2020

Hello,
Both the colleges are well known and have estabhlished themselves well in the past years, but government medical college srinagar has a state college college brand value with it.
Otherwise both the colleges, academics , events and laboratories are well equipped and are good campus life.

Shrishty sahu 19th Nov, 2020
Dear student,
By looking at the previous years cut off i can predict that there are veri slim chances for you to get all these colleges. Cut off varies from year to year. There might be chances that you can get these colleges but right now by looking at the previous years cut off it seems impossible.
