the closing rank in 2020 for cse branch was 2808 whereas in 2019 the closing rank was 7067. So if you want to get admission in cse branch in svec then i would recommend you to try to get your rank above 3000.

The rank mentioned by you is decent one but getting Government colleges in this particular rank would be very difficult because the cutoffs are very high for this type of colleges and hence, you require a really good marks but definitely you can try in many mid range colleges
