if we get an upgraded seat in round 2 then can we get an admission there and opt for an upgradation in round 3?

Asmee Biswas 4th Aug, 2024

If you are allotted an upgraded seat in Round 2 of the counseling process, you can accept this seat and get admitted. However, if you wish to opt for further upgradation in Round 3, you need to carefully review the rules of the counseling process for that particular examination. Typically, if you accept a seat in Round 2 and participate in Round 3, you may be eligible for upgradation if the counseling rules allow it. Make sure to check the specific guidelines of the counseling process, as policies regarding seat acceptance and upgradation can vary. It’s crucial to follow the instructions provided by the counseling authority to ensure your eligibility for further upgradation.

Asmee Biswas 4th Aug, 2024

For the NEET PG 2022, the cut-off scores for the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) for MD Homeopathy and other postgraduate courses were declared on the NBE website. For the general and EWS categories, the cut-off was 275 marks, while for SC, ST, OBC, and PwD candidates, it was 245 marks. For unreserved PwD candidates, the cut-off was 260 marks.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) handles the counselling and seat allotment for the AIQ seats. The state quota allotment details vary by state, and you would need to check the respective state counselling authorities' websites for specific details regarding state quota ranks.

For comprehensive information about the seat allotment and counselling process, you can refer to the MCC's official notifications and schedules available on their site.

Got 144 in Icar pg can I get horticulture (floriculture) seat

sai raja 3rd Aug, 2024

With a score of 144 in ICAR AIEEA PG 2024, it is unlikely that you will be able to secure a seat in Horticulture (Floriculture) at your preferred university. Here's why:

1. ICAR AIEEA PG is a highly competitive exam with limited seats available. In 2019, there were only 3,075 PG seats across all disciplines and universities

2. Admission to ICAR PG programs is done based on merit, with candidates being allocated seats in their preferred subject and university based on their rank and availability of seats

3. For Horticulture (Floriculture), the eligibility criteria includes a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or Forestry. Your score of 144 may not be high enough to secure a seat, as the cutoff ranks vary each year depending on the competition.

4. ICAR PG seats are limited for each state with no more than 40% candidates from any one state being admitted in a particular subject and category. This further reduces the chances of getting a seat.

5. ICAR JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) is a separate exam for admission to Ph.D. programs, and your ICAR AIEEA PG score is not applicable for that.

To improve your chances, you can aim for a higher score in the next attempt of ICAR AIEEA PG. You can also explore other PG programs in Horticulture or related fields at state agricultural universities or private institutions.

Hii i got 603 marks in neet 2024 in EWS category . Can i get medical seat maharaja agarsen college . please tell as soon as

sai raja 3rd Aug, 2024

No, with 603 marks in the NEET 2024 exam under the EWS category, you are unlikely to get a medical seat at Maharaja Agrasen College.

The NEET 2024 cutoff for the General/EWS category is expected to be around 720-162 marks Last year, the cutoff for the General/EWS category was 720-137 marks

Maharaja Agrasen College is a private medical college, so the NEET cutoff is usually higher compared to government medical colleges.

To get an MBBS seat at a good private medical college, you would typically need a NEET score of at least 650 or higher

A score of 603 is significantly lower than the expected cutoff for private colleges.

Your best option is to aim for a government medical college under the EWS reservation, where the cutoff is expected to be lower than private colleges. You can also consider other options like AYUSH courses or improving your NEET score next year.

my neet score is 368 Im from Andhra Pradesh can I get a b category seat in Andhra Pradesh plzz clarify my doubt

Kanishka kaushikii 3rd Aug, 2024

Hello aspirant,
Unfortunately, with a NEET score of 368, securing a B category seat in Andhra Pradesh is highly unlikely.
While the chances for government medical colleges might be slim, you can explore these options:

1. Private Medical Colleges: There are several private medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The fee structure might be higher, but you have a better chance of securing a seat.
2. Other Healthcare Professions: Consider exploring other healthcare-related fields like dentistry, pharmacy, or paramedical sciences. These courses have different admission criteria and might be more accessible with your NEET score.

Kanishka kaushikii 3rd Aug, 2024

Hello aspirant,
With a 43k rank in the AP EAMCET and belonging to the SC category, you have a good chance of securing a PharmD seat in a government college in Andhra Pradesh.
The SC category enjoys significant reservation benefits in government colleges, and the cutoff for PharmD courses is generally lower compared to other medical-related courses.

i got seat allotment in first phase of ts eapcet and i self reported and i attempted 2nd phase conselling and also seat alloted and I didnt like the college got in 2nd phase can i get 1st phase seat...?

monag2673 8th Aug, 2024

Unfortunately, you cannot retrieve your first-phase seat in TS EAPCET after accepting a seat in the second phase.

Once you've self-reported to the college allotted in the second phase, the system considers your first-phase seat forfeited. This is a standard procedure to streamline the admission process.

While it might be disappointing, you cannot reverse this decision. However, you can explore other options:

  • Refund for Second Phase Seat: If you haven't reported to the second-phase allotted college, you might be eligible for a refund of the seat acceptance fee. Check the EAPCET guidelines for details.
  • Future Phases: If there are subsequent phases of counseling, you can participate in those and try for a different seat.

It's crucial to carefully consider your options before accepting a seat to avoid such situations in the future.

hope this helps you!!

can I get pG ayurveda seat with 220 marks of Neet exam on payment basis in your college

Juee Hote 7th Oct, 2024

institution-Specific Requirements: Every Ayurvedic institution may have its own admissions cutoff scores, which may include seats paid for or management quotas.

State and Central Counselling: Depending on your NEET score and rank, admission is often handled through state or central counselling procedures.

Seat Availability: Payment seats could be scarce, and each institution may have different availability.

Reservation Guidelines: The admissions eligibility of some universities may be impacted by their reservation guidelines.

Your chances of obtaining a paid spot in PG Ayurveda with a NEET score of 220 rely on the universities you're applying to and their requirements. For reliable information, it's best to investigate particular universities, look out their previous year's management quota seat cutoff scores, and speak with their admission offices personally.

if we get seat in first phase but we tried to second phase for better college but seat is not alloted in 2 nd phase then we need to self report once again in the first phase seat alloted college arent

monag2673 12th Aug, 2024

If you secure a seat in the first phase of counseling but attempt the second phase hoping for a better college and unfortunately don't get a seat allotted in the second phase, you will generally need to report to the college allotted to you in the first phase.

This is because once you accept a seat in any phase, it is considered confirmed. Not reporting to the allotted college can lead to forfeiture of the seat and potential penalties.

However, the exact procedure might vary depending on the specific counseling process and rules of the respective state or institution. It's advisable to carefully read the counseling guidelines or contact the counseling authorities for precise information.

To avoid any last-minute hassles, it's crucial to make informed decisions and plan accordingly.
