SRM KTR has a strong academic reputation and has better infrastructure than Jain CMS B-School; however, Jain´s location in a business city could offer more industry exposure. If alumni and campus life are important to you, SRM is a good choice. If placement and networking are more important, Jain could be better.

In previous years, the closing rank for CSE at SRM AP was generally below 4,000 for open category candidates. You may consider applying for other branches or explore CSE in mid-tier private colleges where the cutoff extends beyond 20,000.

With your AP EAPCET rank of 21,459, you can get admission in SRM University, AP. In 2024, students with ranks up to 35,000 got seats in CSE and other branches at SRM AP. So with your rank, you have a good chance to get CSE, ECE, or IT in this university, especially in later rounds of counselling.
