But from this year placements are being conducted individually in different campuses.

As you have got a rank of 49,404 you can get CSE branch in SRM university. But it is difficult for you to get CSE in main campus which is kattankulathur which is in chennai. Also there arw decent chance of getting CSE with specialisation in other campuses.

According to your rank in SRMJEEE which is 42000 you will not  get CSE  branch in main campus but you can get other branches like ECE ,EEE, MECHANICAL etc in main campus .You cannot go to join councelling after date your seat will be taken by others.
