Attempt and get something like 1000 . The initial 200 to 300 most presumably pick other NIT's and IIT's . The following 200 choose far superior schools or close-by universities , wherever they arrive a much better arrangement and you are left with other 500 to battle for those

You will get seat in SRM Amaravathi and Kattankulathur Campus. It main campus except CSE you can get everything in Amaravathi you will get anything.
you should have below 50k to get genetic engineering to get seat while you can go by direct make sure i have given complete details of the admisson to your branch
