sir / mam , i have two options right now to do my masters - MBA , one is CMS jain university ( bangalore) and SRM KTR campus , i live in chennai by the way . is it worth going to bangalore for CMS jain MBA?

Saurabh Yadav 28th May, 2025

Hii,

It can be difficult and costly to move away from home if you live in Chennai and attend CMS Jain University in Bangalore. You can save money on living expenses and travel because the SRM KTR campus is closer. Although both universities offer MBA programs, find out which one offers better instructors, placements, and courses that you are interested in.

Bangalore is a larger city with more employment options, but SRM is also a good option if you feel at ease there. Consider your top priorities: remaining nearby or looking for more opportunities in a different city.

My ward has got rank in VIT Entrance exam 31200, he has got CSE IN KIT Bhubaneswar. His Manipal 1st phase score is 93. SRM rank is 33000 Please give your guidance for good course in the above institutions.( KIT Bhubaneswar, VIT Chennai, Manipal main campus.

Rohan 11th May, 2025
  • Manipal (Score 93): Good chance for CSE at the main campus. Strong option.
  • VIT Chennai (Rank 31200): Unlikely for core CSE. Explore CSE specializations; good institution.
  • KIT Bhubaneswar (Rank 31200): Confirmed CSE seat. Decent option, consider specializations.
  • Recommendation: Prioritize Manipal CSE, then explore VIT Chennai CSE specializations. KIT Bhubaneswar is a viable backup.
  • Next Steps: Attend counseling, research specific CSE curricula and specializations, consider other factors (location, fees, etc.).

Is srm hostel safe?what about food in hostel ?do you think srm hostel fee is worth ?

Sujal Singh 9th May, 2025

SRM hostels are generally safe with 24/7 security and CCTV surveillance. Food quality varies by campus but is decent with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The hostel fee is relatively high, but facilities provided justify the cost for many students.

could i get ece in srm ktr with 15k rank?

Vishal Yadav 17th May, 2025

Hey! With a rank of 15k, getting into ECE at SRM KTR might be a bit tricky, but it's not impossible. It really depends on the cutoffs for that year and how many folks are vying for the same spot. Usually, ECE is pretty popular, so the competition can be tough. But if you’ve got some backup options or are open to other branches, that could help! Just keep your fingers crossed and stay positive! Good luck!

You could still snag a seat in other branches like Information Technology or maybe even some specialized courses related to Computer Science, depending on the cutoffs this year. It’s always good to keep an eye on the latest trends in admissions, so check out the official SRM site for the most accurate info. Good luck!

what should i choose CU or SRM for btech CSE with AIML??

Saurabh Yadav 8th May, 2025

Hii,

If you seek good placement, stronger professors, and more exposure, SRM is the superior option for BTech CSE with AIML.  It has a large campus, many events, and major corporations come to hire.  Chandigarh University (CU) is likewise good, although not as strong as SRM in terms of overall rankings and industrial partnerships.

Choose SRM if you can afford the tuition and want to improve your chances of landing a tech career.  Choose CU if you want a low-cost choice with good quality.  Both are private, but SRM is one step ahead.

I got 235 in neet 2025 and I am sc candidates. did I get MBBS seat in SRM medical college?

preeti kataria 3rd Jul, 2025

With 235 marks in NEET 2025 and belonging to the SC category it is unlikely that youwill get an MBBS seat in SRM Medical College. SRM is a wellknow  private medical college, and itscut-off for SC category candidates usually remains quite high In most previous years SC students needed around 450 to 500 or more marks to secure a seat there. Your score od 235 is much lower than the expected cut-off range for SRM, so the chances are very low. However  don’t worry you still have chances in other private medical colleges where the cutoff for SC candidates is lower many private colleges in different states accept students from  SC category with NEET scores in the range of 150 to 250 You should apply through your state counseling and also check open seats in private medical colleges with lower cut-offs Even though SRM may not be possible with your score other good colleges can still offer you a seat  Keep checking counseling updates and stay ready with all required documents

I am scored 19500 rank in SRMJEE, what are option of colleges and couses ? I am looking to take CSE, IT or ECE in SRM Katankulathur or Ramapuram Campus. Confused in choice filling. Please help

Vishal Yadav 17th May, 2025

Hey there! With a rank of 19,500 in SRMJEE, you still have some decent options for CSE, IT, or ECE, especially at the Kattankulathur and Ramapuram campuses. While the top branches might be a bit tough to snag, you could look into some of the newer specializations or even consider related fields that might interest you. It’s all about finding a balance between what you want to study and the options available. Just keep an open mind during the choice filling, and you might end up in a program that surprises you! Good luck!
