I would suggest you go with SRM main campus . A holds value and has been a renowned university The reason for choosing it over Manipal depends upon some points. So, I've enlisted some points for the convenience of the aspirants.
See, in Manipal University, the competition is comparatively lower compared with SRM university. The placements scenarios are almost the same with a little bit of difference in the packages offered but at last, it is the student who needs to work hard on their placements time and skillsets. The Manipal main campus is comparatively new so it does not qualify for the competition in renowned universities. The average package offered in Manipal is nearly equal to 7-8 LPA where as in SRM it will range from 6-7 LPA. The fees structure is mind-blowing for Manipal, as it costs around 17.9 Lakhs for the whole duration of the course whereas The SRM fees structure is low and costs up to 10 lakhs for the course .

on comparing college According to careers360 SRM university got 4.1 rating out of 5. and the placement rating as 3.9 out of 5. More than 650 companies participate in the SRMIST Chennai placement drive every year. In the year 2019-20 more than 8500 students were placed.
According to career360 Amrita university got 4.2 rating out of 5.And placement rating as 4 out of 5.
In college wise both are good in placement result and infrastructure. But comparing course ECE is bit tougher than CSE. ECE student has the advantage to work in both core (ECE) companies as well as IT firms but when it comes to salary packages CSE students are paid a bit more than .
However the courses selection is purely based on your interest. You can make your choice based on your field of interest.
