The refund policy is not a complex procedure. Even the ERM refunds the money applied during the counselling for the seat allocation. So, you can easily ask for a refund or the refund will be initiated only by two methods these are NEFT/RTGS methods.

For claiming the ref unding of the fees, an individual needs to follow these steps for a successful refund.

• Login credential( fill in the information of the date of applications and dob).
• Verify the payment details without any fail.
• Verify and Continue.
• Click on the confirmation button for cancellation/Refund.
• Admission is cancelled and the payment will be reflected in your bank account within few days.

Dear candidate, at 22K rank you will get ECE branch in SRM Chennai, main campus. CSE cutoff is around 10500. You are eligible for all branches in SRM Chennai campus, except CSE. Sorry to say but you can’t get CSE in main campus. For more information, you can check:

The marks which you have got that is your rank is very good and it completely shows your dedication and efforts towards the exam. Now talking about the admission i would say that you can surely get the CSE or IT branch in some of the SRM Universities only if you are planning for the main campus than there might be a little difficulty of getting CSE or IT due to its huge demand but otherwise in some medium level campus you can definitely get the seat in any of the rounds.

SRM institute of sciences and technology provides scholarship to its meritorious students on basis of ranks in SRMJEE.  As per the guidelines of the institution rank holders between 1 to 500 are eligible for 100 percent scholarship on the tution fee. So yes you will get scholarship in the main campus.

Note- The scholarships from the second year would be subjected to the candidate's performance in the University examinations.

Both the private colleges that you have mentioned are well known for their engineering programs all over the country. Kalinga institute of industrial technology ranks 42nd in the latest nirf engineering rankings. You will get an amazing infrastructure here with well equipped lab facilities. The faculties are highly qualified and have indepth knowledge of their subjects. You will have to pay around 3.5 lacs per annum for the mechanical engineering program. The average package for the same is around 4.5-5 lacs per annum.

SRM kattankulathur has a lot of similarities to that of KIIT. The parameters where SRM edges over KIIT is the lower fee structure and the high reputation it has build around in years. SRM ranks 41st in the engineering rankings just above KIIT. With the help of previous years cutoff records for different campuses of SRM, I can give you a rough idea about the branches you can get with the rank 17989.

The branches which you might get are: ECE in Chennai Campus and you can get ECE in other campuses easliy with CSE in Ramapuram, Sonipat and Ghaziabad campus (as per the previous years records).
