With the rank of 18083, you can easily get a seat in CSE in all the campus of SRM including NCR Delhi campus, except the main campus i.e. SRM Chennai

You will surely get a seat through B or if situation worsens C category in the Kattankulathur campus(main campus).
If campus isnt your priority then you can get CSE in other campuses.
I advise you stick to the main campus though.(has a lot of benefits regarding everything)

If you are confident enough that you will crack BITSAT then you can sit back and study hard. Otherwise my opinion is not to leave the chance. Sit for the counseling process for both and if your preferred stream is given take that and get your admission in VIT OR

Dear Aspirant, two colleges are good for the mechanical engineering courses. But I don't know form which category you are and what is your economical state. So compare with this and judge which one is best for you. But one thing the campussing is very good in both the colleges.
