Hi aspirant,
See there are no specific cutoffs released by the SRM Institute of Science and Technology. The marks, ranks and choices of candidates collected and seats are allotted to them on merit basis. However if we go along the previous closing ranks you have scored a very decent rank and can expect the following branches at main campus:
Your chances are bit gloomy for Computer Science and Engineering at the main campus but you can definitely get all other courses at any of the other branches of college. To see the previous closing ranks of past years visit https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/srmjeee-cutoff
Hope it helps!
Hello aspirant,
I hope that you are doing absolutely great.
With reference to your above mentioned query, i would like to tell you that with the above rank scored by you in SRMJEE phase 1, you have good chances for getting CSE branch in ktr campus of SRM. The last year cutoff trends for SRMJEE mechanical branch closing rank was around 9500-10500. And your rank is much below than this, so you'll get the CSEl branch in SRM.
I would like to tell you that the above results were still the prediction according to the previous year cutoff trends. The cutoff for SRMJEE changes every year and is different for different category students. The cutoff trends depends on various factors like difficulty level of the paper, number of aspirants appearing the examination, previous year cutoff trends etc.
Further, if you wish to know and check more about the SRMJEE cutoff trends and category wise cutoff then you can follow the below link to know more on this :

Hello Abhishek
The good rank in SRMJEEE can only be defined on the basis of the total number of candidates who appeared for the entrance exam. Usually, more than 50,000 candidates appear for the entrance exam every year. As per past trend and analysis, the good rank in SRMJEEE can be between 5000-7000 .
As per expert analysis, candidates scoring 90+ marks in SRMJEEE can consider his/ her score as a good score. And when it comes to getting rank below 1000 then it totally depends on your quality of preparation. try to give mock test consistently. Mocks will really help you to Score higher marks.

Hi,
Hope you are doing great.
SRMJEE is a comparatively easy exam than JEE, UPTU, VIT, BITSAT. If you are a CBSE student then it is not going to be a tough task for you to crack this exam because questions are normally based on your 11th and 12th subjects(PCM) if you are from CBSE Board. But cut off are usually very high so you have to do your preparation very seriously and do not try to leave even a single topic because it will cost you more. Also, this exam contains negative markings so you have to be cautious while attempting the exam. The books that you can refer to prepare for this exam are R.D Sharma, S.L Arora. Make sure that you are practicing the previous year's paper so that you get to know how much time you are spending on a particular question, which is your strong area and which is your weak area.
If you want to know from where can you download the mock test for SRMJEE for phase 2 you can just click on the link given below.
