Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you, you have very less chance of getting CSE in SRM as closing rank of CSE is around 10,000 and you have rank greater than that nut you should not loose hope and should attend the counselling

Getting 8416 is a good outcome. But the SRMJEE cut off rank varies every year with respect to branches and campuses. It also depends on the number of seats available for each branch. So we cannot be sure of getting into CSE with specialization.

You can get All Branches for your Rank in all SRM Campuses except Computer Science Engineering in SRM Institute of Science and Technology, SRM Chennai Campus. The expected Cutoff for CSE is 9500 to 10500 and your SRM JEE rank is 16395 so you can't get Computer Science
