So you are thinking that if you appear for MAT may 2018, the colleges may not accept it. Well, here's the thing these colleges will take MAT score only as a formality but not as a absolute requirement at the time of admission and they don't judge your
Both the colleges are decent you can take admission in any college according to your choice or location.
If you want to take admission in private colleges you should try in VIT Vellore, Manipal and Thapar they provide very good placements in this field.
