can I get a ssb call letter for navy btech entry 2020 my pcm percentage is 79% and my jee main crl rank is 270448 please reply fast anyone

Guljabin Quadri 11th Oct, 2020

Hello,

Since the year 2019, JEE Main Ranks do have weightage for getting you a call letter from SSB for Navy. There have been students who had secured a rank of  more than 3,50,000 and yet were unable to get themselves selected for this.  However, few students with ranks less than 3,00,000 did get a call letter. As far as your PCM Percentage is considered, it won't matter much as u already have more than 75%, however, the JEE Mains marks might become a matter of concern.

All the Best for your future.

what book to prefer for general knowledge for UPSC (NDA) and how to prepare at home for SSB interview and how to prepare for current affairs and how to develop self confidence??

chandni deb 3rd Oct, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

the best book recommended by students for general for UPSC exam is General Knowledge by "Arihant", "Disha" and "Pearson". The best way to prepare for you current affairs part of UPSC is by reading the newspaper on a daily basis.

With respect to building confidence, solve as many previous years papers as you can, it is a great way to boost your confidence. Also believing in yourself is equally important to develop self confidence.

Now when it comes to preparing for SSB interview try and follow these given steps :-

  • Try to know SSB's test and procedures inside out
  • Do not ignore current affairs
  • Some topics you should have detailed knowledge about
  • Brush up on your academic technical knowledge
  • Have a good knowledge on your native or home state
  • Be honest, simple and yourself
  • Try and improve on your speaking skills
  • Listen to your interviewer with full attention
  • Try to not repeat your views

Ayush 28th Sep, 2020

Hello vikrant,

Hope you are doing well.

As per your question, as per their rules and regulation of eligibilty , candidate should not be lesser than 15.7 year and not be greater than 18.7 years. So as per their maximum age eligibilty your date of birth should be earlier than 2nd january 2002 (19 years).

So as per this eligibilty you are eligible for this exam. You can give this exam one more time as per their guidelines. Also if you don't know this year exam is been postponed due to this pandemic.

i have applied for tes 44 and 10+2 btech entry(indiannavy). ssb for tes 44 will be first if i get selected then will i be able to attend ssb of navy entry. My first preference is navy so i am asking.

Prashant Chaudhary 25th Sep, 2020

Hi,

Both these entries Technical Entry scheme-44 and 10+2 B.Tech. entry for indian navy are two separate entries. You can be selected in any of these and still can appear in SSB interview of another entry. You can even get selected in both the SSBs if you are good enough. So you need not to worry. Focus on clearing SSB with good marks and then you can decide where you want to go.

Thank you.

sir i have scored aggregate 83% marks in pcm and having a rank of 320000 in jee can i expect for ssb in navy btech 10+2 2020.....!!!

Shivendra Pratap SINGH 24th Sep, 2020

See Candidate JEE MAINS BTECH cadet entry only considers your JEE MAINS Examination Percentile and not the Class 12 Boards marks. The board marks Will be considered in Technical Entry of Indian Army only. According to the previous years Cutoff analysis the students who are scoring around 50 Percentile or more than it will be selected for SSB interview. Now Your rank in JEE MAINS Exam is around 3,20,00. Hence surely you Will be getting Call letter by Indian Navy.
