As per your question, as per their rules and regulation of eligibilty , candidate should not be lesser than 15.7 year and not be greater than 18.7 years. So as per their maximum age eligibilty your date of birth should be earlier than 2nd january 2002 (19 years).
So as per this eligibilty you are eligible for this exam. You can give this exam one more time as per their guidelines. Also if you don't know this year exam is been postponed due to this pandemic.

Both these entries Technical Entry scheme-44 and 10+2 B.Tech. entry for indian navy are two separate entries. You can be selected in any of these and still can appear in SSB interview of another entry. You can even get selected in both the SSBs if you are good enough. So you need not to worry. Focus on clearing SSB with good marks and then you can decide where you want to go.

Since the cutoff for navy tech varies from year to year it's hard to predict the accurate results.
But considering the TES and NDA cutoff for 2020 it's hard for you to get a call letter for SSB navy tech scheme as well as TES.
If you haven't crossed the age bar , you can still try giving NDA or try other defence entrance after completion of graduation.

if you are willing to join NDA and are very concerned about it then you should surely join the coaching centres as it will only benefit you in some or the other way and will increase your chances to get admission in it.
basically the coachings help you prepare for the SSB , but there are also some coaching centres that will help you clear the entrance exam as well.
