what if i have 83 percentile in jee mains is there is a chance of selection in ssb ? and if not then how much more percentile is needed to be get selected

Piyush 7th Jan, 2022

Hello aspirant,

I hope that you are doing absolutely great.

With reference to your above mentioned query, i would like to tell you that with your above expected rank in JEE mains 2022, the chances for you to get admission in ssb college is fairy less as your rank would be very less. With this percentile score your expected rank would be around : 173910 - 195500 .

So, with this rank and percentile score you have very less chances to get a admission seat in any government or private colleges. For a secured seat in any good colleges or any other colleges you have to score the minimum percentile score of around : 98 - 99 and rank of within 30K in JEE mians 2022.

Further, follow the below link to know your rank with the help of rank predictor tool :

Further, if you wish to know other colleges and want to know your admission probabilities in other colleges you can follow the below link :

I hope that this will help.

Hi sirji, Im hopeful that I can clear the cds written and the ssb .But Im worried about the medical since Ive two extra tooth and also my upper jaw and lower jaw are not in good occlusion .Can I still get through the medical ?

Lisa 14th Feb, 2022

there are no medical negatives points for tooth fracture, distortion, or deformities. if you clear the cds written exam and the SSB exam then there will be no trouble for you to clear the medical and get into your chosen college and course. do not worry, no deformities of your teeth would cause trouble to your selection

i have selected a date for ssb interveiw, but i will not go for ssb. will this attempt be counted?

piyush singh 21st Dec, 2021

Hello, I hope you are doing well

SSB Interview attempt only gets counted when you go for the interview, unless you go there and attend the screening you shouldn't worry about it being counted as an attempt.

Also, there is no limit to the number of times a candidate can appear for SSB Interview. You will be in a problem only if you try to mislead them by providing false information about your number of attempts.

If you fail to clear the interview it will still be counted as an attempt, but not if you don't go for the interview.

Hope this helps.

hello I m 16.3 year my Date of birth 25-9-2005. I passed NDA exam was on 14-11-2021 can I faced SSB PLEASE GUIDE.

Aditya 18th Dec, 2021

Hi aspirant,

At first heartiest congratulations on clearing written part of the NDA examination. According to the current eligibility criteria set up by UPSC, the body which conducts the NDA examination candidates between age limit of 16.5 to 19.5 years,(July 2, 2005, to July 1, 2002 ) can apply online for the National Defense Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy (NA) 2022 exam. Now by following this you must age 16.5 years by 31st December 2021, which is not possible now and hence you will be considered not qualified for the SSB interview and will need to reappear in further sessions.

Hope it helps!!

For which all entry in Armed forces can i apply from 3rd year of Btech? And can i attend ssb during my 3rd year?and what if i clear the ssb and get recommended, then can i join academy if all the things go correct? or will i be allowed to join the academy after 4th year only? pls Breif me...

Atul Singh 20th Nov, 2021

Dear Student,

There are many ways through you can join defence after your graduation, names are given below.

  • CDS
  • AFCAT
  • SSC-Tech
  • INET
  • and some university level

let's take an example to understand your problem.

Lets say now you are in your 3rd year and you have given the CDS entrance exam and cleared all the steps like SSB, Medical and Merit. Now after few months  they will allow you to join the academy.

But as you are in 3rd year of your college so they will give you the time to submit the documents of your college degree until one month before the joining. And if you will not be able to submit that document then your candidature will be cancelled, and after that you need to complete the same process again.

That's why only 4th year /Last year students give the exam so they can arrange the document before joining.

Good Luck :)
