St Xavier College
Hello aspirant,
For admission in Bsc eco hon , the cuttoff is calculated the following way ,
Marks in mathematics + top 4 aggregate . Usually cutoffs goes as high as 197-198 . It varies from stream to stream . To sum up you always need a 100 score in maths and extremely high top 4/5 ICSE or CBSE score to be able to make up the cutoff. So you need to calculate your marks based on this criteria.
Hope this helps!

Thank You.
First of all it depends on the board to which your school is affiliated to . The cutt off released by the college is for 3 boards namely, ISC ; CBSE and WB board .
For BCOM (hons.) morning (boys )
ISC - 93-95% CBSE - 95-97% WB - 83-85%
For BCOM (hons.) evening section (co-ed)
ISC - 95-97% CBSE - 96-98%
For BBA (hons.) evening (co-ed)
There is an entrance test for BBA and so the marks is on a 50-50 aggregate 50% of boards mark + 50% of entrance exam mark
ISC - 66+ CBSE - 69+ WB - 61+
hello there
the answer to this question may vary person to person . both colleges are good for bcom. both have its own benefits and flaws . for my ,i think st. Xavier college ,kolkata is better ( my personal opinion) .it is more reputed than shaheed bhagat singh college .you must compare carefully between these two colleges. one more thing the fee of st xavier college is quite more than du .in my view the placement in st xavier is better than du (might vary from year to year)
but still take your time to decide
best wishes
