Hello Dear, If your university gives you a valid graduation degree even after dropping that subject, then SSC CGL will not be a problem. SSC CGL only needs a recognized degree at the time of document check. Confirm with your university that your degree remains valid for govt jobs.

According to the age qualification, from next year you will able to give SSC CGL exam but you also had to fulfill the education eligibility criteria. You must need to had a graduation degree for appearing in SSC CGL exam.

SSC CGL does not have a special cyber branch. But if you get selected in CBI or IB through CGL, you may work on cyber cases. If you want only cyber-related govt. jobs, then you can prepare for exams like NIC, IB ACIO Tech, or UPSC cyber posts.

As long as you cleared that backlog, it shouldn't be a problem and you can definitely apply for exams like SSC CGL.
