Staff Selection Commission-Combined Higher Secondary Level (SSC CHSL) is a national-level level exam conducted bySSCevery year.
The eligibility criteria is as follows :
- Candidates must havepassed class 12 from any recognized Board for the posts ofLDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO.
- For the post of DEO Grade-A in C&AG office, candidates must havepassed class 12 with Science stream and Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
But make sure you have valid documents and rest everything will be fine.
I hope this helps.
is west bengal obc certificate valid for ssc chsl exams?
Hello, The OBC certificate for central government will be in a definite format. You can check out from this link http://www.ncbc.nic.in/User_Panel/UserView.aspx?TypeID=1176
Both the state and central certificates will be signed by the state authority only, So if you have your certificate in the above mentioned format then your certificate will be valid for SSC. If not you will need to apply for a new one.
You can refer this link to know more details on the application process of SSC CHSL http://www.ncbc.nic.in/User_Panel/UserView.aspx?TypeID=1176
Hope this helps.

Im in 2nd year of engineering and also preparing for SSC CHSL. If I secured a rank in SSC CHSL then how can I continue my graduation if there is no facility of distance learning in my college.
For every post that is offered under the SSC CHSL exam the minimum eligibility is that the candidate must have completed 12th science with mathematics compulsory from a recognised board . So if you are doing engineering you have two option either complete it and then go for a job or drop it.
I would rather suggest to complete your engineering and then apply for exams related to engineering domains and leaving behind SSC CHSL.
Go for exams like GATE, ISRO, BARC, SSC JE, RRB etc
Thank you
i am having tattoo on my right wrist and right ankle and i am preparing for SSC CHSL, junior assitant and clerk type jobs . will there be any problem due to my tattoos ? is there different medical test for the person with tattoo?
Hi dear,
Yes, it may create a problem for you like a job like BSF, Army, and many force departments strictly banned tattoos highly discipline is mandatory on the jobs like SSC, BSF, Army etc, .But sometimes we may get the opportunity that's completely depends upon one's luck .But according to govt rules and regulations tattoo is prohibited.
Thank you
All the best.
Should I stop preparation for entrance exam and focused on remain 10+2 board exam as I heard that due to corona virus covid 19 universities can be cancelled the exam and noticed that the admission will based on 10+2 marks?
Let me assure you one thing that there is absolutely no chance of admission in engineering colleges based on class 12th board examination.JEE mains is postponed not canceled and even if gets cancelled there is no way that admission will take place based on 12th marks. So, just forget about these thing and focus on preparations because sooner or later all the exams will take place once the Covid-19 situation gets under control.
Good Luck
