• a Bachelor’s degree (of at least 3-year duration) in any discipline and

• have passed the 12th standard examination with Mathematics as a subject.

Yes, B.Com hons requires concepts of class XI and XII mathematics to be used. So, most universities (such as DU) have this eligiblity criteria for admission to B.Com Hons i.e. they ask for Mathematics as compulsory subject in class XII.
