There are a limited 30 seats. But there is division based on the category :- For gen :-15
For obc :-8
For Sc :- 5
For ST:- 2

The eligibility criteria for masters in statistics from ISI is : 3 years Bachelor’s degree or a BE/B Tech degree with Statistics as a subject or a B Math degree from ISI, or Post-Graduate Diploma in Statistical Methods and Analytics from ISI.
For selection students with B Stat (Hons)
Indian statistical institution,kolkata provids ug and pg courses concerned with statistics.
Indian statistical institution, kolkata provide following undergraduate courses
1) B. Stat (Hons.)- bachelor in statistics( hons)
2) B. Math (Hons.) - bachelor in mathematics.
So yes bachelor in statistics is available in Indian statistical institutions, Kolkata.

In statistics cut off index score of above 195 in general.
Usually cut of is low for WB
The index score is calculated by taking the sum of the aggregate marks ( best of four,) and maths /

Sorry to say they does not offers post graduate course in statistics. There are about 10 subjects and 34 postgraduate subjects are there in JNU. Actually they conduct an admission test for the PG courses also but it doesn't include statistics.
