Can a non Karnataka student appear for KCET exam and KCET counseling and get the government engineering colleges ??

Piyush kesarwani 13th Apr, 2022

Hello aspirant,

YES, students from other states , means the non-karnataka students, can also apply and give KCET Examination. But for veternery courses your father or mother should be a native of karnataka and also you will need to write a kannada exam which is conducted for 50 marks and a minimum of 12 marks are required.

Furthermore, since you belong to the other states, so you will only be getting the private colleges in karnataka and not the government colleges after giving the KCETE examination.

Further, if you want to know more about the KCET examination, then you can follow the below mentioned link to know more : https://www.careers360.com/exams/kcet

Further, below is the link of KCET College predictor tool, if you want to know your admission chances in other colleges : https://www.careers360.com/kcet-college-predictor

I am 12 Biology stream student, I want to ask you that if I get full marks in neet paper then can I apply for any job after that And if yes then what is the process?

Anurag Khanna 4th Mar, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

See NEET UG is an entrance examination through which one can get admission to medical courses such as MBBS/BDS or in some AYUSH courses such as BHMS/BAMS and so on but it is not an entrance examination for jobs so with NEET UG score you cannot get a job even if you score full marks. If you score good marks then you can get admission in to top AIIMS like AIIMS New Delhi but for studies and after completing MBBS, the candidate has to undergo a compulsory internship for at least an year. Then only you can do job in that field otherwise only class 12th qualified candidates are not allowed to do such medicinal practices.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!
