Admission to NITs is done if you qualify admission cutoff in jeemain.There are two types of cutoffs.one is qualifying cutoff and other is admission cutoff.qualifying cutoff in jeemains helps you write jee advanced,it doesnt neccesarily help you fetch seat in NITs.but admission cutoff is cutoffs for admission into NITs.so
