About 400 international students have been pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Panjab University and its local affiliated colleges. As per the NIRF Report 2022, the total of 2 students out of 32 students were placed during Central University of Jammu UG 3-year placements 2021. However, in Central University of Jammu UG 3-year placements 2020 the total of 57 students were placed out of 57 students.

There are total  4 hostels in Central University of Jammu. Currently there are are two hostels for boys and two for girls. All the hostels rooms are well ventilated and installed with basic furniture.
