Well in the hostel, the decision for of sharing it in number of students is done by authority itself.

The decision is totally depends on some factors like:

1- No. of students applied for hostels

2- Size of hostel rooms

3- No. of rooms available and many more

However as my experiences the room is shared by 2 to 4 students at any sort of hostels

That would be challenging because applicants for the B.Tech programme at IIST must have completed senior secondary school with an average MINIMUM of 75% marks from a recognised board and must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, a language, and a different fifth topic.

The candidates selected in the course are based on the both 10+2 merits and JEE Advanced scores.

According to the official website, there is no such thing mentioned as scholarships for different categories. Since you want a scholarship in MIT Manipal, which is for BTech, here are a few scholarships you can apply to:-

NIT Silchar offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in engineering, science, humanities and 11 other departments. It is really good in terms of placements. Around 145+ companies visited for placements for the batch 2021-2022. Around 522 students out of 892 students were placed (eligible students were 734).

The highest salary package offered was 41.6 LPA, average package offered was 7.23 LPA and the lowest package offered was 1.74 LPA. Top recruiters were Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Wipro and Bajaj.

in Every hostel mobile phone is allowed nows days. but sometimes it depends hostel authority also .

but i am sure that in any hostel in whixh yiu are giing for next 3-4 year. they will allow you to yse mobile phone. even in some hostel they provide wife too.
