Plan of students to study abroad or to study in any other city has crashed due to COVID situation. How can students deal with such a situation.

Everybody is facing such a situation. I am sure class 12th students have a lot of aspirations. I would say that there is only a delay. The virtual classroom is starting up. As teaching is becoming more digital, I would advise the future students to go into blended learning. It is now going to be hybrid learning, a bit of teacher teaching, a bit of virtual learning, self study.

Which exam is held through which we can study abroad for free

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 11th Jun, 2020

To be honest, there is no such exam for Candidates to study abroad. There are scholarships that are offered to help students to fund their studies. These are Need based and merit based scholarships. The need based scholarships are financial aid scholarships that are offered on case to case basis with financial statements as a proof. Now merit based scholarships are offered to those students who have an impeccable academic record. Again, these on;y fund a part or complete tuition fees. But the application fees, language proficiency tests, Visa charges, accommodation and everything has to be borne by the student.

I am right now in 12th grade and my classes are going online , i badly wanted to write SAT and study abroad next year , will i not be able to go due to corona?

rajaman9300 Student Expert 8th Jun, 2020

It is really very tough to predict whether the students will be allowed to travel abroad in recent times or not.

I am not saying that it will be cancelled for lifetime, but looking at cases i don't think they will re-start in the coming 6 to 8 months.

There's good news too as few European countries like Slovenia, Estonia, Montenegro, New-Zealand, Tanzania has been declared free of Covid-19.

All the best!!

How should I can apply for mit after 12th for study abroad

Mayank Chowdhary 13th Jul, 2020

Start preparing yourself for the SAT examination and then try to score decently in the same somewhere around 1530 and above out of 1600 because MIT prefers extremely talented science aspirants. You have to send them the recommendation letters and then seeing your SAT performance, boards results you will get a call for further group discussion and interview rounds and try to build a good personality so that you explain them well why they can take you in and it can be beneficial for both. With an admissions rate of 6.7%, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is one of the most selective schools in the U.S.

which are the entrance exams to be given to study abroad for bachelors degree?

chandresh iyer 7th Jun, 2024

To study abroad for a bachelor's degree, prospective students typically need to take standardized entrance exams to demonstrate their academic readiness and English proficiency. The most common exams include the SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) or the ACT (American College Testing), which assess a student’s knowledge in areas like math, reading, and writing. Additionally, non-native English speakers usually need to prove their English language proficiency by taking tests such as the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System). Some countries and specific universities might have their own entrance exams or additional requirements, so it's important to check the specific admission criteria of each institution. Consider seeking guidance from reputable educational consultants who specialize in international study opportunities. A notable choice is Invicta Career Consultancy (https://icclearning.com/) , offering comprehensive 360-degree support, including exam preparation for tests like SAT, GMAT, GTE, IELTS, and more. Their assistance extends to crafting effective Statements of Purpose (SOP) and aiding in the selection of suitable colleges. For detailed information, exploring their website is recommended. Wishing you success on your educational endeavours!

chandresh iyer 19th Jun, 2024

To study abroad, several standardized exams are commonly required, depending on the country and the type of program you're interested in. For English language proficiency, the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) and IELTS (International English Language Testing System) are widely accepted. For undergraduate admissions, the SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) or ACT (American College Testing) is often required, particularly for universities in the United States. Graduate programs might require the GRE (Graduate Record Examination) for most fields, or the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) for business-related programs like an MBA. Additionally, specific exams such as the MCAT (Medical College Admission Test) for medical schools or the LSAT (Law School Admission Test) for law schools may be necessary. Preparing for these exams is crucial, as they play a significant role in the admissions process and scholarship opportunities.
