how many marks need in neet 2022 for general categorey to take admission in AIIMS,new delhi and IPGMER, kolkata?? and i want to be a plastic surgeon so tell me about it full details??

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 14th Aug, 2020

NEET 2022 is atleast 2 NEET exams away. And cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. But ideally this is the first time that AIIMS is conducting its admissions through NEET score and for AIIMS New Delhi, we are expecting a cut off of more than 650. May be around 675 given its reputation. But 2022 cut offs or marks required are too early to be discussed. So if you are planning on appearing for NEET 2022, you should know the NEET eligibility criteria first. And to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. And regarding becoming a Plastic Surgeon, first you need to complete MBBS along with mandatory 1 year internship. Post that you have to appear for NEXT. Now NEXT will come into effect probably in 2022 and so we do not yet know how admissions are going to be conducted based on NEXT. So for both NEET 2022 cut offs and NEXT details, you will atleast have to wait for a year or 2 for near accurate information. Until then stick to NCERT books and practise atleast one mock test a week.

what is the salary of a self employed veterinary surgeon?

rehan18alam Student Expert 25th Jun, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

There is no fix salary if you are self employed. It depends upon how many clients you are getting and how good and effective is your service. If you are good at service and you have a good number of clients than the income too would be really good, however, if that is not the case then you might not get a good salary.

Hope this helps. Thank you.

If you have two careers in front of you, one based on your aptitude the other based on your personality. Which should you choose? eg- I have very stable hands, I am calm under pressure e.t.c so an advisor told me I should be a surgeon. But I like competion and movement in my job. What should I do?

Nimisha Gupta 16th May, 2020

Hello Arnav,

Generally when we are given two options for our career we want to take the one which gives us ultimate satisfaction in life.

There are always so many people trying to give there opinions but in the end it always matters what we want to do.

If someone is giving you a option for becoming a surgeon but you don't want that for yourself then simply don't do it. Because everytime you would be deceiving yourself only by thinking what if I had chosen something else.

My advice is to go for the thing that most excites you.

Good luck!

If a Surgeon after completing MBBS and MS, if he/she writes UPSC exam, What kind of job will they get and What will be their Salary?

pdwords Student Expert 1st May, 2020
Hello,
See,eligibility for UPSC is based on graduation and candidates from all background can apply here, there's not even specific aggregate requirement here, so whether you've done MBBS, MD or even higher studies, if you qualify prelims, mains and interview which are the three stages of examination and joins the probation period for a duration of two year, you still have to start your journey as SDM which is Sub Divisional Magistrate if you qualify for IAS, and it doesn't matter who possess the highest qualifications, it's not going to change, yes the ranks will decide as the top posts goes to IAS only and then IPS, so on and so forth. But, the recruitment process is more based on how you fare in the exam, and ranks you get eventually.
