As per your querry, i would say that NEET got nothing to do with you becoming a Surgeon. Basically, NEET UG is an entrance examinatiom for admission to UG courses like MBBS, BDS, Ayush and Veterinary Courses.
But doing any specialisation courses like Surgeon is a subject course for PG Course. For studying PG, you need to appear for NEET PG or EXIT exam whichever applies for getting admission for pg courses. That time, you can choose your specialisation.

To become a Cardiac surgeons need a lot of time. It is one of the longest process in the medical field. It requires four years of medical school, a 5-year general surgery residency and a 2-3 year specialized cardio or cardiothoracic fellowship.
