Does SIMSREE conduct GD/PI for admission to its PGDBM course? or is it solely based on MBA CET score?

Chinmay 9th Apr, 2019

Dear Aspirant,

SIMSREE does not conduct GD/PI as a part of its admission process. The admission is solely on the basis of MAHCET scores.

Admission Process for MMS and PGDBM is as follows:

  • The student has to appear for MAH-CET conducted by DTE or any exam equivalent to MAH-CET (CAT and CMAT)
  • Apply to Admission process of DTE  ( follow announcements at https://www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in )
  • DTE will conduct Document verification at ARCs
  • On the basis of Percentile of Normalized score of entrance exams, seat allocation will be done by DTE on merit in CAP rounds.

In case you have any other doubt or query do comment here.

Thanks and All the best !!!

Cet percentile 97.04 Category SC Any chances of getting into sydneham or welingkar?

Shravan Hari 7th Apr, 2019

Hi Mahesh, the cutoff varies every year based on various factors like number of test takers, number of seats available, difficulty level of exams etc. However going by the previous year cutoffs, there are high chances for Welingkar as their cutoff is around 97 percentile. The chances for Sydneham is like having good to better chances, but it is not having high chances for this percentile.

Sir I scored 99.99 percentile in mat feb 2019...but my graduation score is 48%....will I get admission in simsree through dte cap rounds?

Arushi 6th Apr, 2019

Hi Naveen,

Yes you can apply for simsree. But for backup of management colleges  I would suggest you to keep other good colleges as an options like Christ University, Bangalore. As your graduation score is not that good so there might be chance of not getting  shortlisted.

wish you good luck.
